1st Honeymoon: Last Day at the Atlantis Palm Hotel

After our dinner at the campsite, it was the end of the desert safari and we got back into the car where Roshin our safari driver will be sending us back to the Atlantis Hotel. The Swiss lady loved Roshin's dance CD so much that she requested Roshin to burn her a copy and that she'll get it from him the next day. I guess everyone enjoyed the Desert Safari that they wanted to have a small memento of it. She even collected the desert sand in a bottle to bring it back to her home country.

Though tired from the desert safari experience, there's still a task that we need to do. We had to have dinner at the hotel's restaurant. When we booked the Hotel voucher online, the voucher includes a nights stay, free entry to the water park and the aquarium as well as a 800AED dinner voucher, so we had to use it up that same night.

In the end, besides the wine and champagne we ordered 2 main meals with sides. No matter how full we were also have to stuff all the food in.

We had an awesome day, looking at the view from our balcony there were still activities at the beach side, like sort of a beach party or something. But we decided to turn in early and get up in the morning tomorrow to try out the Water Park. We didn't need to turn on the air conditioning, we just left the windows opened and enjoyed the cool sea breeze.

We got up at 8am, had breakfast then headed straight for the water park. We were like the first ones there, the park was still empty except for the life guards and park operators. The water was very cold in the morning, no wonder no ones there yet. We tried out each slide once, it was really fun, I screamed a lot going down the water slides, lol. I felt better when we're done, I thought screaming was a good way to release all the pent up stress and frustrations from work.
That's all that we did in the Atlantis Hotel, we checked out at noon and took a cab to the next hotel that we'll be staying at for the rest of our Honeymoon in Dubai.
