The Appendicitis

It's a good thing we decided to have this blog to document everything that's going on with our wedding. There's so much drama happening that the whole 4 months to the big day can be made into a TV drama already, much like a Korean TV series.
The latest unprecedented event that we had was that Agnes wasn't feeling very well, there was a sharp pain in her stomach for the past 3 days, on Tuesday she couldn't take the pain anymore and went to see a doctor. The doctor diagnosed that she had Appendicitis.
Taken from wikipeda: 'Appendicitis is a condition characterized by inflammation of the appendix. It is classified as a medical emergency and many cases require removal of the inflamed appendix. It has been recognized as one of the most common causes of severe acute abdominal pain worldwide.'
The doctor suggested she be operated soon to remove the appendix as it is very swollen, if left untreated will cause more implications. So after all the drama about having to undergo an operation just with 1 and a half months to the wedding Agnes decided to go ahead with it, better to settle it now.

Just after the operation
The operation lasted less than an hour and as soon as the anethesia wears off she regains consciousness and is able to chat with visitors. It's a small operation, no big deal but the doctor forbade her to perform any strenous activities for a while. After two days of stay in the hospital she's allowed to go home, of course she's back to making arrangements for the wedding again, but I guess we will not perform the Tango dance anymore. After 4 sessions of dance training together we felt it a pity we can't perform the dance but for me I feel more relieved there's no more pressure and no chance that I'm going to make a fool of myself by forgetting the dance routine.

I'm good she says
Everyone had a shock that she was warded into hospital with just the wedding coming up, but everyone said its better she had the appendix removed now rather than having implications on the wedding day.
On the good news, we have received a DVD of our edited Pre Wedding Pictures from Ian Photography. Will start posting the huge lot of them soon.
