1st Honeymoon: The Honeymoon Suite

After spending the whole day at the Mall of Dubai, we went back to the Palace, Old Town anxious to see the honeymoon suite that was prepared for us.

Enjoying the relaxing evening atmosphere at the Old Town
Anxiously walking thru the archways to our room
This is what we saw open entering our suite, a spacious living room and a mini kitchen. The mini kitchen has a Nespresso machine, you know the new product from Nescafe. You put in mini nespresso capsules or whatever it is called and it pours out a small portion of expresso in a small cup. I'm not a big fan of coffee but I love how simple the machine works, instant expresso at a touch.

Big and cozy living area
A study and make-up desk in one
We loved how they decorate the bed for us. Flower petals and the bath towels neatly folded up into a pair of swans with their necks interwined to form a heart shape.

Awww even the bathroom is decorated with petals, they also prepared a warm bubble bath in the tub
I was skeptical at first when they said we got upgraded to a suite, I tried peeping into the other rooms when it was being cleaned up and saw that they were of the same size. But when I asked the reception, the suite is indeed twice bigger than a standard room that we paid for.
We absolutely loved the suite. The Palace isn't a cheap hotel but the suite upgrade more than makes our two days stay there totally worth it.
