The Dance Poses

The most difficult shots that we had to take were the ones we had to do Tango Dance Poses. Agnes really wanted to do a Tango dance during the wedding to showcase her dancing skills so we thought of doing a series of shots based on Tango for the pre wedding photos. Our wedding invitation also portrayed a silhouette of us in a dance pose.

She's only had little practice in Tango and I didn't even have any dance basics, so Irene from Ian Photography selected a few poses from Google and had us emulate them. We just had to stay in the position long enough for the Photog to get a clear shot, not easy considering I had to support Agnes' body weight most of the time.

Note: I can't find the original pictures that we copied the poses from but its something similar to these ones.

This one is most difficult, had to almost like carry her. We modified it a bit so I was only like carrying 50% of her body weight. She also can't lean back far enough.

This one we just needed the close up of our faces.

This one also difficult, can't split that far so the hind leg put upright if not I can't carry her then drop her on the floor, lol.

This is the easiest but looked like I was gonna drop her.

This one was a piece of cake.

Another one where it looked like I was going to drop her.

Nowadays can get anything online, besides not being professional dancers we just copied the poses online and make it look like we're contestants from 'So You Think You Can Dance'. We had alot of fun though doing this set of photographs.
