The Prewed Shoot: Day 3

Agnes' Grand Uncle (Kukong) to Agnes in Mandarin:
Kukong: You got yourself the right guy for a husband.
Nez: Huh?
Kukong: He can hug and kiss you in public, while everyones watching. I would never do something like that.
Having explained that we were following the photographers instructions...
Kukong: Yes that means he's the right guy for you
Agnes & Dave: -_-

Right after our morning shoot, Agnes' Grand Uncle (Kukong) brought us to have Yam Cha together with the rest of the family: (Agnes' Grand Aunt, Uncle and her Grandma and Aunt who also happens to be in Hong Kong at that time).
Here Kukong kept saying that she looks like some actress, the rest of us just Lol'ed.
Kukong surprised with how different Agnes looks that he barely recognizes her
After brunch Kukong brought us to Hong Kong exhibition center where there's a scenic view of Hong Kong for our next shoot.
Hong Kong Exhibition Center
Unfortunately the weather is like T_T
Had to leave the exhibition center in search for other locations
At the lobby of Grand Hyatt, Hong Kong
We got all the shots we need for our pre wedding photos so we started on the Video. We filmed at an MTR station and also within the train.

Tsim Tsa Tsui MTR Station

At the end of the third day, we had so much good food that our bellies are competiting in size with one another.

The Prewed Shoot: Day 3 (Habour Grand Hotel)

Our conversation with an Aussie Couple in the lift:
Aussie Guy: What's the gun for? (See pics below)
Dave: We're shooting a movie
Aussie Guy: Seems like you're gonna shoot the actress
Dave: ...................... (Smiling Politely)
.....................................................................................................................................................................................
Last day of photo shoot! Almost done, but there's still a ton of pics to take and the we'll start filming the video as well. As usual we woke up at 7.30am for the makeup.

She might be still asleep

She's always in a bad mood in the morning, because she's still sleepy
Then she'll go like: Get me my breakfast, find where I put my contacts, faster!!!  -_-

Ready to roll out
This morning's shoot will be taken in the lobby of the hotel we stayed in, Grand Habour Hotel, Kowloon.
The lobby is very nice, the scent of Lavender oil fills the area and still reminds me of the place even when we're not staying there anymore. The ceiling is decorated by grandeur Crystal Hanging Chandeliers.

Taken at the Hotel's upper ground, to be level with the crystal chandelier
Even the photographer is in matching red

We picked the rose from the Hotel's decorations
The silver gun
Supposed to be like Bond but more like Pink Panther
Fave pic of the day: Man with the silver toy gun

The Prewed Shoot: Day 2 (Lan Kwai Fong)

Our banter on MSN:
Nez: People like our blog
Dave: Yeah because I'm a good writer
Nez: But I find all the vendors one
Dave: and I'm Super Suai as well
Nez: Disgusting
Dave: ............ :(
..............................................................................................................................................
Arrived at Hong Kong in the evening, headed straight for Lan Kwai Fong!!! Agnes' favorite clubbing district (I prefer Clarke Quay). There's a slight drizzle, as our custom goes, we went to get our dinner before any pictures. Our fave eating spot at Lan Kwai Fong is this small Chinese Restaurant in one of the alleyways. Its a very cramped space for dinner but they won several best dishes award, best pork ribs in 2008.Then we headed to the streets, people were watching us take photos, so this is what being a photo model feels like, lol. The more people looked the more we posed.

Maybe people think we're movie stars or something yah

Some of the best shots were taken in this street, Ian was saying luckily the rain wasn't too bad and we got all the nice pictures at Lan Kwai Fong. Headed back to the hotel, tried taking photos from the hotel's top floor but the fog was covering up the night sky.

This is her prettiest makeup yet, we made a bet before going to Lan Kwai Fong on who will get hit on the most. An Ang Moh DJ was smiling at her in one of the clubs, although he never approach her but still award her 1/2 a point. I got 0 :(

Foggy Skies
Hotter than the bar hostess there
Trying to squeeze in some workout time in the Hotel's gym

The Prewed Shoot: Day 2 (In the Hotel Room)

Our continued Ramblings on BBM:
Nez: What's your secret?
Dave: Tell me yours first
Nez: Ok I give U hint (Taking the bait)
Dave: Tell me 1st then I decide whether to tell you mine
Nez: I forgot to shit today
Dave: -_-
..................................................................................................................................................................
Woke up at 7.30am again, however photos will be taken in the hotel room itself so we had more time to do the make up and dressing up.

Still sleepy

The transformation begins
Red tie, black suit
That's a nice cabinet
Book a hotel room today, to receive a bonus chick in lingerie.

Someones acting all flirty
Our favorite shot of the day
That wraps up our stay in Macau, and we're headed to Hong Kong on Ferry to continue with the rest of the shoot.

The Prewed Shoot: End of Day 1

Our continued Ramblings on BBM:
Nez: Noo..it's a secret I can't tell you
Dave: Why not? Because I won't want to marry you anymore? (Getting suspicious with the gender issue)
Nez: No..because it's a big secret.
Dave: Ok, I got a big secret too. (Reeling her in)
To be continued....
...........................................................................................................................................................................................

Next costume change and more makeup for the last shots of the day, plus we're gonna go to hunt for a nice dinner spot.
The photographer is also the hairstylist, we got a 2 in 1 package deal
My outfit for the night
The hotel's concierge recommended us Dumbo Portuguese Restaurant located nearby, so we took a cab there.
Waiting for a cab in costume and make up
While most couples control what they eat and watch their weight while taking the Wedding Pictures. We prioritize on filling our stomachs with good food first, then we think about the photo shoot, lol.

Eager for Portuguese
Having arrived at the restaurant, there's a few tour groups having dinner there. The only other Portuguese restaurant we know is Nando's so we just ordered the waitress' recommendations. The food was so good, while we're tired from a whole day of taking photos, we enjoyed the food so much that we were all eager to continue with the shoot again after that (Like Super Mario getting Mushroom Power Up).

Blurry shot of Portuguese dishes, bah eat 1st take pictures later
Pork Knuckles, absolutely delicious
Dumbo also serves the best Portuguese Egg Tart, I have ever tried. It's on a class of its own. The crust is so crisp that it just crumbles in your mouth and the Egg filling, its like a taste of Heaven. When we left the restaurant we were still talking about the Egg Tarts and how the after taste still stays in your tongue and makes us longing for it again. Sorry peeps I thought of bringing home some Egg Tarts but they have to be eaten while freshly baked for the wow factor. Oh and we were so engrossed with the Egg Tarts that we forgot to take a picture.

While taking some shots in the alleys near Dumbo, it started raining heavily. We had no choice but take a cab back.
Was kinda saved by the rain.
Pork Knuckles are bulging through the tight shirt
The humid atmosphere fogged up the camera lens, creating this blurry effect
We took the remaining shots back in Cafes in the Venetian, then called it a night.
Finally end of Day 1 of the Photo shoot. Only 2 more to go.

The Prewed Shoot: Day 1 (The Venetian)

Our Ramblings on BB Messenger:
Nez: I got a big secret I can't tell you
Dave: What, you're born as a guy? (I just had to check)
To be Continued....
.............................................................................................................................................................................

Back in the hotel room for a change of clothes and retouch the makeup

Putting on accessories

I had to do my own tie

The exterior of the Venetian Macau

We're getting kinda sick of looking at each other already
For this particular shot, we had to run though the pillars back and forth,
"Run fat boy, Run!!!"

Close up photo

Back to the hotel room to prepare for dinner and the night shots

While waiting for the girls to get ready, I headed to the casino and won 1,600HKD from Roulette. By double betting on red/black. Only to lose the same amount the next day.
The morale of the story is: You can never earn a living from Gambling, lol.
